How to redeem the code
- Start the EA app and open 'Redeem Code' from the menu.
- Enter the key and refresh your library.
- Older Origin codes still work inside the EA app.
Region and account
EA ties keys to country lists rather than to single regions. An offer covering Europe does not automatically cover Switzerland or Turkey.
An EA account is required. Origin was replaced by the EA app on Windows, but the account behind it stayed the same.
A common pitfall
