How to redeem the code
- Open the Store on the console and choose 'Redeem'.
- Enter the 25 character code.
- Without a console, microsoft.com/redeem does the same job.
Region and account
The code has to match the country on your Microsoft account. The console itself plays no part in that check.
Sign in first with the account that should own the game. Moving it to a different account later is not supported.
A common pitfall
Game Pass and Gold codes extend a subscription. They are not a permanent purchase even though the same form redeems them.
